Thunderhorse Ranch is a place you will never forget. It is a place that will stay in your memory for years to come. So get excited, because we have everything ready for you. Located in Lakeside, Arizona, Thunderhorse Ranch sits at 7200’, so expect chilly nights and warm, comfortable days. That means you will want to include a light outer layer and rain jacket for safe keeping.

Overall, attire at the ranch is casual, which means blue jeans, tee shirts, and boots if you have them. Just come prepared for all the different activities on the ranch and nearby area, like horseback riding, hiking, fishing, kayaking and more. But don’t worry about your linens and towels because we have that taken care of. Some of these activities are on-site while other activities are nearby.  If you think you or anyone in your family might be susceptible to high altitude symptoms, you might want to ask your doctor about medications that prevent high altitude mountain sickness.

If you’re not in driving distance of the ranch, the best airport to fly into Phoenix. From there you will need to either rent a car or take a shuttle to make the 3 hour trip to the ranch. You can also fly into Show Low Regional Airport which is only 15 miles away from the ranch.
